During the summer of 2022, the Logistics Programs section of Linköping University organized a design competition to create their new logo. The old logo was often confused with the logo of the political party the Liberals, and it was time for a change.
My competitive instinct kicked in immediately, and I started brainstorming concepts for the logo.
The Logistics section consists of three programs:
- KTS: Communication, Transport, and Society
- SL: Logistics of Society
- FTL: Air Transport and Logistics
In my design, I wanted all three of these to be represented while allowing typical logistical elements to take center stage. The individual program logos were transformed into road signs, conveyor belts, and airplane wings.
Similar to logistic transported containers, CTS, LS & FTL form the "L" in Logistics.
I won the competition, and now notice boards, section clothing, backpacks, and much more are adorned with the new logo, yay!
