In 2023, Norrköping Science Park opened a second office where companies associated with Printing and Organic Electronics would have the opportunity to sit and gather to create a stronger community within the industry.
HOPE - House of Printed and Organic Electronics
The building, formerly an old school and even further back, an industrial building, didn't exactly exude electronics and innovation. Therefore, I took on the task of adorning its exterior to reflect its interior.
I drew inspiration from two prominent companies in the printing and organic electronics sphere:
1. Epishine, which manufactures printed organic solar cells
2. Ligna, which manufactures printed batteries from residual materials, including wood.

Creating window decorations provides an opportunity to both market and convey messages to all passersby. Therefore, it was important for the design and message to easily pique interest.
I drew inspiration from solar cells and batteries, products we are all familiar with. This resulted in a window featuring battery elements and inspiration from circuit boards with the question "Did you know batteries can be made out of wood?" and a window that became one large solar cell with the question "Did you know solar cells can be printed?"

The windows can be seen at Källvindsgatan 5 in Norrköping (Opposite the "ironing board" building, which might be hinted at in the pictures...)
